Optogenetics

The field of Optogenetics is the study of light activation of neural circuits. The main technology lacking for this research is fine tuned probes which can interact on a neuron by neuron basis. As such, this sub-group is focused on the design and improvement of such probes.

Our main focus in this improvement is for optimal steering in both theta and phi. The following information is an introduction to the research conducted thus far in this regard.
