I decided to try to align the blue laser to a device, but problems arose when smoke appeared. Here's a paper I burned some marks onto.

In other news, I did successfully align the device, and here is a video of the sweep.

Here are the results from my first run of the focal length offset test. I found that an offset of +5 mm yielded the best results. I was surprised that there was no significant increase in power at distances shorter than the focal length.

I made a few pre-amplifier boards. I need to test them still but they look pretty good.

The Monitor Merit Badge page is in a good place. It is not done yet, but I think it is to the point where it is a valuable asset for building a monitor.

The new EasyAlign cartridge will allow us to align cartridges with the ease and precision of the test stand while using 3D printed materials for cost efficiency.
