Arduino Phase Shifted Outputs

I was able to get 4 distinct phase shifted outputs on an Arduino using the hardware timers. The frequency of the outputs is easily adjustable and at 40 kHz, there are 200 distinct phases between 0 - 180 degrees. We could get another 200 points of precision from 180 - 360 by inverting one of the outputs.

The phase angles are also easily adjusted by changing appropriate register values (TCNT0, TCNT1, OCR1A/B, OCR0A/B)

In the pictures, I kept channel 1 on the same output pin and then tested it against the three other outputs.

56 degree shift

100 degree shift

107 degree shift
