Now that I have cut my first wafer and am ready to test my pattern, i need to figure out how to send a chirped wave through a signal generator. Scott and I worked on this together. At first we considered using LabView Software to create the chirped wave, then send it into the signal generator. Unfortunately, we could not figure out how to do this easily. So we went to the shop and found a piece of hardware that would work [TODO: PUT NAME OF HARDWARE HERE].

In the time domain (across the wafer), we wanted a chirped signal similar to a sinc wave. in the frequency domain, a sinc wave is rect function, so we expected to see something similar to a rect function.

With a little playing around, we finally got the hardware to give us a chirped wave for the given range of frequencies. [TODO: GIVE STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO DO THIS] the results are below.
