Monitor Team

This team builds holographic video monitors from scratch. Their primary goals are to deliver two monitors to DAQRI in the next few weeks, to create compelling content and to publish on a completed 18 channel modulator.

We are currently building two types of modulators ISOMET bulk AOM modulator 18 Channel Waveguide modulator

GENERAL

  1. Build 4 monitors at least, two in the next few weeks.
  2. Create content make butterfly 3d models, and other impressive content, understand and implement MIT algorithms
  3. replace GPUs analog inputs with converted digital inputs enlist the help of DAQRI's president, Andy (andy@daqri.com) and Jim Barabas MIT PhD that worked on problems like this for years, barabas@gmail.com.
  4. Improve optical input design for waveguides with gratings
  5. Have replacement architecture for scanning assembly with custom 3d printed pieces.
  6. Help Miles build Giant Yoda display
