2st Chromium Strip (Not Wire Bounded with Surface defects on the second half)

This does not work. This method is sensitive to any surface and volume defects.

Wire Bonded Chromium Strip

This works just the way we expect.

There was a 10th wire bound but it failed to bond the first time. This lead to a poor contact resistance. As a result it's resistance was equal to the rest of the system combined. This shows the potential problem with wire bonding!
